Alpacas of Wales was established in early 2003 not long after we bought our smallholding and when we realised that we needed some livestock to help keep our very grassy pasture under control. Exploring options, we came across some information about alpacas, attended a fact finding course and fell in love with these intriguing intelligent creatures – shortly afterwards our 3 new girls arrived, quickly followed by another 5 and we were on our way to the sizeable herd of quality animals which we run today.

Over 70 crias later, we are the proud owners of a good sized herd of huacaya & suri alpacas and several ribbons from the few Shows we attend.  Needless to say, alpacas are now a way of life and it’s hard to imagine them not being around.

All our animals are microchipped and registered/birth notified with the British Alpaca Society & we abide by the industry’s recognised and approved Code of Conduct when selling animals
